I practically do it all right? Lol Nope, I still have a lot more things I want to do in life. This is only the beginning. I led with that because as an artist you should know who I am and what I am here to do.

My name is, Divinitee Da Poetess aka Nikki W bka Dominique Wiley. I am a Chicago raised poet with a little Suburb in me that has been IN COMPLETE LOVE with POETRY since I was 14. I went to Simeon Career Academy where I wrote over 400 poems, at 17 became an ordained minister, and graduated with a Cosmetology License. From there I gained 4 loves, Poetry, the stage, teaching and Assisting.

I started off at the hair salon as a stylist assistant in LaVee’s Hair Salon and met the creator of the organization POET, DeAndre Hawthorne. I also met a lady by the name of Cheryl Wash and she introduced me to the open mic (Ear Candy) that would change my life. At 18, I had wrote 400 poems and through that open mic I would gear up to release them and become apart of POET for several years.Alongside many amazing poets I went around Chicago to many open mics and out of state for the next 3 to 4 years.

Poetry took a backseat to life for many reasons for many years. Performing as a feature for various events here and there but never a real push. I also took a break, during this time to start a professional Massage company with my best friend called “Positive Vybes Massage” in 2012. Officially getting our LLC 2020. I also helped about 5 black owned businesses in Chicago thrive as an administrative assistant or social media manager. (Chicago) While also Performing at Family events, weddings, churches (Sweet Holy Spirit and Progressive Missionary Baptist Church), YOU NAME IT…. IVE DONE IT. WHEW!!! , but intimate settings mostly.

In 2017, I released Soul Therapy: 101 EP and featured on Juice Mazelee’s 2015 album The W.A.R Oracle.

In 2019,I started to propel myself forward getting into more erotic shows, interviewed on BroadcastHipHop.net.

, created a podcast called ,” Divinitee Uncut”, featured on 410 Aka’s album It’s not over and ventured over to my dark side. I also started hosting at the Cajun Boil and Bar June 2020 until January 2021. Going on multi city tour doing Erotic Poetry March 2021. Coming back to create my First Show “Nikki’s Diary: Diary of a Soul Snatcher” based off Prince’s infamous Darling Nikki.

2022, I curated a team of poets to perform and hosted at the Natural Hair Fest 2022 Summer and Winter at the Sheraton Grand, modeled clothes on Chicago’s WGN, featured in open mics around Chicago, Co Hosted w/ Jeronimo at the Out The Box open mic and One of Chicago’s “Queen of Poetry” at the POET Kings and Queens of poetry event 2022, and performed in Chicago’s Daley Plaza on the Kings and Queen of Poetry 2022 tour.
